Louis Moriano, OD joined Bucci Laser Vision in April 2015 from Professional Eye Associates in Mt. Pocono, PA, and Visionaries in Easton, PA. A native of Old Forge, Dr. Moriano earned his undergraduate degree in biology at Temple University and received his Doctor of Optometry at The Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2013. He completed clinical internships at the Ralph A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Charleston, SC; North Park Vision Center, Westminster, CO; Northeast Eye Institute, Scranton, PA; Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center, Philadelphia, PA; and Wellington and Weddell Eye Care, Goshen, IN.

Dr. Moriano’s specialties include the treatment and management of ocular diseases, pre- and post-operative care, routine refractive examination, and specialty contact lens fitting. He is currently a sub-investigator of several FDA clinical research trials.

Dr. Moriano has a passion for community service. In 2011, he participated in a week-long mission trip to El Salvador providing eye care in villages throughout the country under the auspices of the Student Optometric Service to Humanity. He also lectures at health fairs and assisted living facilities to promote ocular health awareness.
